Mike Dill is senior manager of Content Marketing Strategy and lead copywriter. He is responsible for the planning, creation, and execution of content for all Ryder business units, products, and verticals, as well as managing Ryder’s social media platforms. Since 2014, Mike has played a leading role creating the messaging for Ryder brand campaigns; refreshing the brand’s Vision, Mission, and Values; and the launch of new products such as RyderShare, RyderGyde, Torque by Ryder, and RyderElectric+. He was also the lead writer on the award-winning Ever better™ World of Logistics national television campaign.
Prior to joining Ryder, Mike was managing editor at Calkins Media, where he was responsible for leading the newsroom of a 30,000 subscription weekly newspaper. In 2013, he was named Florida Newsperson of the Year by Florida Farm Bureau. Mike has ghost written three books for professional athletes, along with many articles for The Atlantic and The Player’s Tribune. He has also been published in Wall Street Journal, New York Times, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and National Geographic. Mike is also a published songwriter and plays guitar. When he is not writing, Mike enjoys being with his family, fishing, and running.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Florida International University, and is a certified nutritionist.
